Why At-Home Skincare Matters Just as Much as Your In-Office Treatments

During your appointment, we focus on your skin’s needs and choose a treatment accordingly. But once you leave the studio, your home care takes over.
If you’re using products that aren’t suited to your skin, skipping your routine, or constantly trying something new, it can be harder to make steady progress. One in-office treatment a month can only do so much when your daily routine isn’t supporting your skin. I may care for your skin once a month, but you care for it every day. Those daily habits matter.
The right routine doesn’t have to be complicated
Taking care of your skin at home doesn’t mean buying every trending product or following a ten-step routine. It means choosing products that fit your skin’s needs and using them consistently. A simple, thoughtful routine can be more helpful than a shelf full of products you don’t know how to use. It should also fit your lifestyle and budget so you can realistically stick with it.
As your esthetician, part of my job is to help you understand what to use, how to use it, and how it fits with your in-office treatments. The goal is to give you a clear plan you feel comfortable following.
Not local to San Jose? I can still help.
You don’t have to visit my San Jose studio to get guidance with your home routine. Through my virtual skincare services, I can help you choose products and build a routine remotely, whether you’re elsewhere in the Bay Area or farther away.
My complimentary email skincare product consultation is a simple way to get started. You can share your skin concerns and current routine, and I’ll help you find products that make sense for your skin.
Simply email “SKINCARE” to info@peoniesbeaute.com, and I’ll send you the next steps.
Whether you see me for in-office treatments or work with me virtually, consistent home care is an important part of the process. Your skin goals take time, and you don’t have to figure out your routine alone.
